Wacky Winter Beer = Goodness
Wednesday, December 31st, 2008Winter is upon us, and that means that all of the microbreweries are making their winter seasonals. Stouts and porters are usually viewed as “winter beers”, so right now all of the beer on the dark end is getting the treatment. Personally, I have always favored the darker beers. They lend themselves to interesting variations, one of my favorites being stouts or porters with coffee. I figure that I have all year to drink normal dark beers, so why not try something new while I can?
